BFG – Brindishe Friends’ Group
Our parent teacher association (PTA) is the Brindishe Friends Group (BFG). All parents and carers are automatically members, as well as staff, governors and friends of Brindishe Green.
Our aim is to support and celebrate the diversity of our school’s community and enhance the children's experience both inside and outside of school. We raise funds for the school and organise fun events including Bake Sales, make-at-home Pizza Nights and annual fairs. Together we are brilliant and have achieved so much.
Join our Facebook group, find us on Twitter or email us at bfgsocials@gmail.com.
What’s On
Summer Term events include:
-
Thursday 25 May, Bake Sale
-
Wednesday 7 June, Meet & greet for new Reception families (4pm at school)
-
Friday 16 June, Brindishe Green Summer Fair!
Could you be the BFG’s next chair?
Sadly, current BFG chairs, Dana and Charlie, are stepping down at the end of this term as their children leave Brindishe Green in July. To continue the amazing work that BFG does, we need a volunteer/s to take on the role. Imagine a world with no more cake bakes...or winter fairs...or Year Six leaving gifts.
If you are interested in taking on this highly rewarding position, please get in touch so we can tell you more about what the job entails: bfgsocials@gmail.com.

Meetings
We hold general meetings once a term, as well as meetings to plan specific events and activities, and everyone is welcome to come along. We're always looking for new ideas to raise funds and fun events for the school community. Participation doesn't have to mean attending meetings or running events - it can be being part of a class Whatsapp group - passing on information about events, or leading on a fundraising idea.
